How to track mail campaign delivery metrics on the go?
Our client's operation managers were required to provide complete visibility into their client’s mail delivery performance while on the go. With a vision to provide timely information to customers, the client decided to develop a mobile application allowing its operation managers to have complete information on their inbound and outbound mail delivery performance, irrespective of time and location.
Valtech developed a feature rich native mobile application to work in conjunction with the client's proprietary mail tracking tool. Valtech was involved in concept design, technical architecture and development of mobile application on iOS platform. Platform specific user interface and functionalities were developed to support both iPad and iPhone devices. The new mobile application was integrated with USPS, Google Maps and other APIs. Controls were placed based on their relative importance in each screen with more emphasis on optimizing iPad and iPhone memory management to display Radar images (both real-time and historical).
The new mobile application provided direct, real-time relationship between the mailer and the USPS to quickly resolve any potential delivery issues. In addition, structured / integrated information architecture and application design fetch information quickly within 3 clicks.
